There are presently eight crematoria providing service in the greater glasgow area. some are local authority owned, the rest are operated by private companies, some crematoria have two chapels and the ability to conduct up to four services per hour.

Each crematorium offers various ways in which a loved one can be remembered, common to each is the Book of Remembrance and at some locations it is possible to purchase a rosebush or plant with a plaque.

Some crematoria now offer sanctum facilities where ashes can be contained in a small marble vault. Your funeral director will be able to provide you with information on what form of memorial is available at each location.
